This is a book co-written with an extraordinary mixologist, James Mason of Central New York. I have observed his skills over the past ten years learning about his Newfoundland roots. James not only mixes drinks, but he mixes music too as a Disc Jockey. He is quiet and unassuming giving another meaning to that famous product known as the "Bar Keeper's Friend". James concocts drinks to celebrate every occasion and he mimics the flavors of your favorite desserts in some of them. People flock to the Olive Garden in New Hartford, New York just to have James serve them up a cocktail because in addition to making a great drink, James is trustworthy and a real listener.
M. Virginia Southworth
M. V. Southworth grew up in a large family in Ticonderoga, New York. As a young adult she lived with her grandfather, caring for him in later years and traveling intermittently throughout the world. Her grandfather's biggest concern was that his granddaughter was too naive. Ignorance was bliss as Virginia lived in other countries and worked her way around the globe.
